Hi, I’m Dave… I Help Websites Succeed
I’m a UK-based SEO freelancer and content writer currently in sunny Brighton & Hove. I love creating engaging, thoughtful and quality organic search content for clients in any sector.
I’ve increased online visibility and improved the performance in search engines for some of the biggest brands in the UK in travel, tech, fashion, finance, professional services and more. After 10 years of working within an SEO agency environment, I wanted to take my digital marketing and SEO skills to a new client base, becoming a freelance SEO consultant to small and medium online businesses across the UK.

In this guide for electrical wholesaler Electrical2Go, I created a landing page to answer a common question they received: What’s the difference between warm white and cool white lighting? Within months, we achieved the Featured Snippet for a 3600 searches per month keyword, and it remains the most popular landing page for organic traffic on the site. Updated Copy & Messaging for Biffa’s New Website
Working closely with members of Biffa’s digital team, I created and rewrote engaging copy for a range of new pages. Undertaking a discovery session with the team to understand messaging, USPs, updated page design and ToV, I created 24 pages of new copy on brief, to budget and delivered ahead of schedule.
Savent Solar Migration & Local SEO Strategy
Sussex-based Savent Solar approached me to undertake a web migration, set up Google Analytics 4 and grow their new website after launch. Building on the success of the migration, I optimised all existing pages for highly relevant local keywords and created six local landing pages. Within weeks, we had visibility in the search results for over 100 local keywords, a 400% increase in impressions, and multiple high-value and qualified leads through the site per week.
